At the William F. James Boys Ranch community meeting on March 29 I indicated that I would be informing neighbors as to the date the Board of Supervisors would be discussing enhanced security at the facility. The Board will hear this item, including recommendations to fund additional security measures, at the regular meeting at10am Tuesday, April 19, at 70 W. Hedding St., San Jose.
While I realize it may be difficult for everyone concerned to personally attend the meeting, as your elected representative I will be strongly advocating on your behalf. I will be asking the full Board to support setting aside the funds necessary to move forward with the GPS system and other measures to ensure the safety of the neighborhood.
