were led by Kyle Bowman, who hit a home run and scored two runs,
and Brent Bottomley, who scored 3 runs, while Jayson Smith, Brett
Kirchick, Sean Hoyle, Parker Tamura and Matt Bergantz each scored 2
runs. Smith, Hoyle, Tamura and Bergantz also had 2 hits each. Hoyle
made a great catch in deep left field on a hard-hit ball to end the
5th inning. Nick Giordano pitched 3 innings for Angels. The Mets
were lead by Aiden Styczynski, who hit a home run and a single, and
Aaron Armijo and Sam Aptekar, who both hit doubles, and Kai Paresa,
who scored 2 runs.

Cubs 7, Giants 6
Giants Nick Swanson struck out five players, holding the Cubs to only four runs in the first three innings. Cubs Andrew Bueno and Matt Jarvis both hit doubles resulting in two RBIs. Catcher Ben Nuno hit a single up the middle, bringing in Giants second baseman Taylor Pullen-Ali, and the fourth inning ended with Giants scoring three more runs making the score 6-4. In the fifth inning, Nuno laid down a sacrifice bunt to bring in Lorenzo Aguayo.
