After reading teacher Heather Wallace’s letter in the May 21 edition, I am having second thoughts about transferring my soon-to-be 7th and 8th grade sons from their private elementary school to Martin Murphy Middle School.
I know she listed all their social problems – “drugs, alcohol, gangs, fights, defiance…” etc. to justify keeping a full-time assistant principal, but it appears Martin Murphy has more issues than even two principals can handle.
Why would anyone send their kids into that mess?
