’s elected officials in their surprise at the lack of citizen
outrage over the second settlement between City Attorney Helene
Leichter and the city.
I completely agree with the Times’ comments regarding the ludicrous “settlement” with former city attorney Leichter. This is anything but settled. Also, I sincerely doubt the lack of indigation and disagreement of the citizens. I previously posted a similar comment online, but it never posted. I will say it again, though; The citizens of Morgan Hill are NOT liable for the cost of such irresponsible decisions made by self serving taxpayer-paid employees. They work for us, remember? Who took it upon themself to carry out this scheme? All costs are therefore yours.
