Vandalism: n Chevron gas station on East Dunne Avenue reported a
suspect came into the gas station and was asked to leave. They
thought the suspect had left, but he was in the bathroom for over
an hour and
“tagged” the bathroom. The report was taken on April 22 at
11:33am.

n A building under construction on Depot Street was vandalized. Paint was thrown on the walls, and hunks of concrete were thrown at the walls making large holes. The report was taken at 8:38am on April 23.

n A resident of Wright Avenue reported her Chevy Tahoe was “keyed” overnight. The report was taken on April 23 at 12;29pm.

n A resident of Willow Creek Drive reported the resident’s Jeep Cherokee was vandalized overnight. One of the Jeep’s windows was broken. The report was taken at 2:40pm on April 25.

Stolen vehicle:

n A Morgan Hill resident reported his Suzuki motorcycle was stolen from Overland Storage on Monterey Road. The report was taken on April 22 at 10:39am.

Auto burglary:

n A Morgan Hill resident reported her locked Honda CRV was broken into while it was parked at the 24 Hour Fitness Club in Tennant Station. A window was shattered, and the resident’s purse, PDA and miscellaneous items were stolen. The report was taken on April 23 at 12:17pm.

n A resident of Mathilda Avenue reported a male suspect broke into her locked Ford Explorer and was still outside the residence drinking beer. She told police the male suspect used a rock to break the Explorer’s windows. The report was taken at 2:48am on April 24.

n A resident of Appian Way reported someone ripped the soft top of the resident’s locked vehicle and stole the resident’s laptop and camera. The report was taken on April 26 at 4:35am.

n A resident of Vineyard Boulevard reported she got into her vehicle this morning, and it appears someone has “gone through” her personal items. She told police it appears just loose change is missing from the vehicle. The report was taken at 8:24am on April 26.

n A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s unlocked Izuzu Trooper was broken into overnight, and an ashtray full of coins was stolen. The report was taken on April 26 at 11:20am.

Battery:

n A Morgan Hill woman reported her husband, who she said was under the influence of methamphetamine, pushed her and chased after her trying to hit her. She told police she confronted him in the garage because she found “empty bags of methamphetamine” in the garage. The report was taken on April 22 at 1:24am.

Petty theft:

n Safeway grocery store on East Dunne Avenue reported three male suspects ran out of the store with a cooler full of merchandise. The report was taken on April 22 at 1:07am.
