Morgan Hill Police are investigating the death early Friday night of a man about 20 years old.
Details of the incident that led to the man’s death are unclear, Cpl. Dave Leonard said. The incident, which may have involved an auto, is under investigation.
Leonard said the man was injured when his head hit the pavement on Piazza Way, a residential area off West Edmundson Avenue behind the Vineyard Town Shopping Center. The man was taken by ambulance to Saint Louise Hospital in Gilroy where he later died.
The man has not been identified.
Police were notified of an injured man at about 4:45pm.
