Here is the recent arrest log recorded from the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s substation in San Martin.
Recovered stolen vehicle
-An unknown suspect(s), between noon Jan. 28 and 9:30 a.m. Jan. 30 on the 2000 block of Barrett Avenue at Hill Road in Morgan Hill, stole a vehicle from San Jose, in addition to mail from another eight victims. The suspect abandoned the vehicle, which officers later found with two methamphetamine pipes and scale inside. Officers also recovered stolen mail and a backpack taken from one victim.
-Officers located a stolen vehicle, 7:06 a.m. Jan. 27 on Columbet Avenue at Middle Avenue in San Martin, along the roadside with three doors wide open. The car was reported stolen out of Gilroy Police Department.
-Officers located a stolen vehicle, 4:46 p.m. Jan. 25 on the 12000 block of Murphy Avenue in San Martin, parked in front of a property that was reported stolen out of San Jose Police Department.
Vandalism
-Juan Zavala-Perez, 18, between 7:50 a.m. and 10:05 a.m. Jan. 30 on Monterey Highway at Highland Avenue in San Martin, broke the passenger side window of victim’s car he was riding in on the way to school.
Public intoxication
-David Patrick Sullivan, 38, 2:43 a.m. Jan. 30 on Watsonville Road at Heritage Way in Gilroy, for public intoxication after officers found him lying unconscious in the middle of the roadway.
Commercial burglary
-An unknown suspect(s), between 8 p.m. Jan. 27 and 6 a.m. Jan. 28 on the 5400 block of Rossi Lane at Rossi Court in Gilroy, used bolt cutters to cut a lock on the fence and stole $7,000 worth of tools, power tools, gas and a generator from vehicles parked in the yard and in sheds.
Grand theft
-An unknown suspect(s), between noon Dec. 1 and noon Jan. 20 on the 5900 block of Monterey Frontage Road in Gilroy, stole approximately 300 feet of six-gauge copper wire from an underground conduit. The estimated cost of damage is more than $1,000.
Drugs
-Kevin Eugene Oneil Garrett, 47, 10:26 a.m. Jan. 27 on the 17000 block of Markross Court in Morgan Hill, for possession of a controlled substance.
