• China Orchid restaurant reported suspects ate $50 of food and left without paying. The report was taken at 6:47pm on Aug. 21.
• A resident of the 2200 block of Brega Lane reported he has a room for rent and a potential renter stole a pair of sunglasses. The report was taken on Aug. 22 at 12:29pm.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s cell phone was stolen on Aug. 6 while the resident was at the Morgan Hill soccer complex. The report was taken at 3:49pm on Aug. 23.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported she was putting her daughter in a car seat in the parking lot of the Cochrane Plaza shopping center and someone stole her purse from the shopping cart. The purse contained a Palm Pilot, a wallet, prescription sunglasses and a checkbook. The report was taken on Aug. 24 at 11:40am.

• A resident of Brega Court reported someone cashed a check drawn on his account, and his Visa was used to pay a cell phone bill that was not his. The report was taken at Aug. 24 at 12:30pm.
Fraud
•A resident of Oak View Circle reported someone has taken and used her credit card and debit card numbers. She told police she believes it is a bus driver from a trip she took. The report was taken on Aug. 23 at 11:39am.
Tampering with
a vehicle
• A resident of Woodland Estates Mobile Home park reported the rear license plate from the resident’s Plymouth was stolen overnight. The report was taken on Aug. 23 at 9:25am.
• A resident of Morgan Hill reported the rear license plate from the resident’s vehicle was stolen. The report was taken at 12:02pm on Aug. 24.
Vandalism
• A resident of the 15600 block of La Jolla Drive reported the resident’s Infinity had four flat tires when the resident returned from vacation. The report was taken on Aug. 17 at 5:25pm.
