In its season-opener on Aug. 29, MH downed the Santa Teresa Bulldogs 18-6.
Following are complete results:
MH Raiders Pee Wee (Silver) 24, Daly City 0
MH tailback Kyle Lappano and quarterback/tailback Jacob Brendle led the way offensively.
Brendle opened up the scoring with a a dazzling 35-yard touchdown run.
Lappano then tallied the last three scores on TD runs of 35, 50, and two yards.
Lappano finished with 176 yards rushing, and Brendle totaled 105 on the ground.
Also adding to the Raiders running attack was fullback/quarterback Rhett Ramirez with 14 yards, and backs Gage Bryant and Blair Zerr with four yards each.
Brendle also completed two passes on the day, one for 15 yards to receiver Brandon Briones, and an eight-yard strike to tight-end Patrick Hanne.
Jacob Brendle led the defensive shutout effort with nine tackles at middle linebacker.
Bryant, Zerr, and Ramirez all had big days as well, each recording eight stops.
Jake Martin, Taylor Ricketts, Briones, and Hanne all made five tackles.
And Mike Gallucci, Alec Mainland, Dylan Glines, Jacob Sanchez, Matthew Martin, Ryan Clare, Sammy Villalba, and Lappano all made three stops for the swarming Raider defense.
Mainland made a fantastic pass interception, and Jake Martin and Brendle recovered fumbles.
MH Raiders Pee Wee (Silver) 18, Santa Teresa 6
Leading the way offensively was tailback Kyle Lappano who had a huge game with 303 yards rushing and three touchdowns.
Lappano had TD runs of 80, 50, and 45 yards.
Quarterback Jacob Brendle added 21 yards rushing, Rhett Ramirez gained nine yards rushing playing fullback and quarterback.
Tailback Blair Zerr and fullback Gage Bryant chipped in with eight yards each.
And receiver Brandon Briones and fullback Jake Martin gained six and three yards, respectively.
The offensive line units that provided the key blocking for the huge running day were Ryan Clare, Brett Jackson, Ryan Riggins, Mike Gallucci, P.J. Marahrens, Tommy Piedra, Trevor Thorne, Sammy Villalba, Trevor Maciel, Daniel Enriquez, Taylor Ricketts, Mannuel Brionez, David Robertson, and Jacob Sanchez.
The defense was led by linebackers Jacob Brendle and Mannuel Ybarra with 10 and nine tackles each.
Strong Safety Rhett Ramirez recorded seven stops as did linebacker Jake Martin.
Defensive Tackle Brandon Riggins made five tackles.
Also recording five stops were Briones, Lappano, Zerr, Bryant, Gallucci, Ricketts, and Ryan Riggins.
Ricketts and Enriquez both also recovered fumbles and Lappano knocked down a pass.
