Paraiso Vineyards, the premiere Monterey County wine destination, announces a very special event to be held at the vineyard in May – The Third Annual Paraiso Airshow complete with gourmet food and wines.
The Airshow takes place Saturday, May 8, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are $100, per person, all-inclusive. Space is limited so reservations are required and available.
Paraiso Vineyards is owned by the Smith family, pioneer Monterey winegrowers. Along with its neighbors Pisoni and Mer Soleil, P.V. anchors the southern end of the rugged Santa Lucia Highlands appellation. Paraiso produces limited, award-winning releases of Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Syrah. Paraiso boasts a stunning tasting room and home décor boutique that is open weekdays from noon-4 p.m. and weekends from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
For 30 years, the Smiths have enjoyed some of the region’s most spectacular vistas from their vineyards’ perch high in the Santa Lucia foothills. Here’s the public’s opportunity to take advantage of Paraiso’s elevated, bird’s eye view of the Salinas Valley as the family hosts a unique wine tasting, luncheon and airshow.
The vintages will be sensational. The food is a fully catered gourmet lunch. The entertainment will be jaw-dropping. The daring show pilots of Wayne Handley of Aerosports will perform their wizardry in a private airshow, above the vineyard and over the valley.
