OVYSL signups
Orchard Valley Youth Soccer League is now taking signups for the 2004/05 fall recreational season. Beginning July 16, the cost is $120 on a space-available basis. Boys and girls aged 4-14 (born from 8-1-99 to 7-31-91) are eligible. Download an application from www.ovysl.org, fill it out and mail it to OVYSL, P.O. Box 0891, Morgan Hill, Ca. 95038. Please include a copy of a certified copy of the prospective player’s borth certificate along with a 1”x11/2” color photo. Player may not be wearing a hat or sunglasses in the photo. mh water polo
The Morgan Hill Water Polo age group team, ages 9 to 14, practices Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the new MH aquatics center. Also at the aquatics center, females age 18 and up are welcome to participate in the Moms Polo program, which practices from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. High school age water polo players practice at the Live Oak High pool on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Details: call Mack Haines at 778-5773.
LOHS physicals
Dr. Ricardo Perez will be conducting athletic physicals at Live Oak High at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 30 in the high school gymnasium. Cost is $35. Boys only. Girls are invited to call Dr. Perez to make special arrangements. All high school athletes must have an annual physical before competing. Details: 779-0668.
