Morgan Hill Pony baseball is holding signups for the 2005 season. Just bring a certified copy of your child’s birth certificate or other proof of birth date to Mountain Mike’s Pizza, located in Morgan Hill (Tennant Station and Monterey Road) on Saturday, Dec. 11, or Saturday, Jan. 15, from noon until 2pm, complete our standard league Registration form, and pay your fees. We’ll take it from there.
A late registration will be held Jan. 26, 7:30-8:30pm.
In addition, volunteer parents are needed to staff virtually every aspect of league operations. There is a need for parent volunteers to manage and coach our teams, maintain our fields, and help behind the scenes in a myriad of special functions that are overseen by our very active Booster organization. Parent volunteers will be on hand at registration on Dec. 11 and Jan. 15 at Mountain Mikes Pizza, to answer any questions you may have about our program. OVYSL directors, coaches sought
The Orchard Valley Youth Soccer League is accepting reumes from anyone interested in serving on its board of directors. All positions are open.
When sending in resumes, indicate what position(s) you are interested.

Mt. Madonna YMCA Youth Basketball registration underway
Youth basketball league registration for boys and girls ages 2-16 has begun at the Mt. Madonna YMCA located at 17666 Crest Ave. in Morgan Hill.
The registration deadline is Dec. 19.
Youth basketball league games are played every Saturday from Jan. 8 through March 12 at YMCA and local facilities. Practice sessions once a week are scheduled by coaches for ages 7 and up.
Saturday game times will be announced by YMCA volunteer-coaches.
The registration fees for youth basketball are $45 for facility members and $65 for program members. A free youth basketball T-shirt is included in the registration fee.
Youth will learn the basic skills of basketball, including dribbling, passing, shooting and defense. Leagues emphasize skill development, sportsmanship, fair play, respect for others and fun.
Each child is guaranteed equal playing time in every game. Participants must provide their own tennis shoes.
YMCA memberships and programs are open to the public. The annual membership fee is $25. Scholarships are available through contributions and individuals and families may apply by contacting the Mt. Madonna YMCA.
