For the Live Oak varsity girls in the early game, Megan Gulla scored a game-high 13, and Breanne Campbell added 9, while alum Lindsay Barbieri scored seven for the losers. The Acorn girls (0-1) play at Alvarez on Tuesday.
In the nightcap, LO senior guard Jordan Raczscored 14 and senior guard Mike Taylor added 10. About 16 LO alumni showed up, including Jon Michael Porras, David and Nick Garcia, and Thia Lein, among others.
The Acorn boys host Westmont in their season opener tonight at 5:30pm.
