Live Oak High juniors Christine “Cobbie” Jones and Lisa Herrera, along with Monte Vista Christian sophomore Wes Buntman, will compete at the State Cross-Country Finals at Woodward Park in Fresno today.

Jones qualified for the State Finals by winning the Central Coast Section Division I girls individual title on Nov. 13 at Toro Park. Herrera, competing in her first cross-country season, qualified by finishing seventh overall at the section finals.

Buntman, who lives in Morgan Hill, qualified by taking fifth overall in the CCS Division IV boys competition.

At the State Finals, the Division I girls race begins at 1:20pm, while the Division IV boys race begins at 10:40am.
