Vandalism: A resident of St. Marks Avenue reported a window of their vehicle was shattered over the weekend but nothing was stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken at 1:47pm.

n Burglary: Quality Inn on Condit Road reported someone broke into a vending machine on the property. The report was taken at 8:37pm.

Battery: A Morgan Hill resident reported her 16-year-old daughter was assaulted inside the Cinelux Theaters in Tennant Station shopping center by an older woman. She told police the woman pushed her daughter up against the wall and kicked her. The report was taken at 9:28pm.

Vandalism: All Parts Auto Store on Monterey Road reported a window of the business was shattered by pebbles. The report was taken at 10:32pm.

December 13

Petty theft: A resident of Almond Way reported someone stole the left front wheel off of their Jeep Cherokee while it was parked in the driveway overnight. The report was taken at 7:41am.

Petty theft: A resident of Daffodil Court reported the left rear wheel was stolen from his Jeep Cherokee overnight. The report was taken at 8:01am.

Vandalism: A resident of Willow Creek Drive reported a window of their Chevy Camero was shattered overnight. The report was taken at 8:34am.

Vandalism: A resident of West Dunne Avenue reported a window of his daughter’s Honda Civic was shattered overnight. The report was taken at 8:43am.

Vandalism: A resident of Lancia Drive reported her inflatable snowman was damaged on Dec. 10. She told police someone pulled the plug on Frosty, and one of the hooks that anchors him was ripped off.

Vandalism: A resident of Olive Avenue reported a window of his Ford truck was shattered overnight. The report was taken at 9:46am.

Petty theft: A resident of Malbec Drive reported someone stole approximately 60 roses from his garden this morning. The report was taken at 2:50pm.

Auto burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported his phone was stolen from his vehicle two months ago while it was parked on Concord Circle. The report was taken at 3:53pm.

Auto burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported the passenger window of their vehicle was shattered and their wallet stolen while the vehicle was parked at the Community Center. The report was taken at 7:44pm.

December 14

Vandalism: A Morgan Hill resident reported two juveniles were spray-painting the cement in front of the cemetery at Spring and Del Monte Avenues. The report was taken at 2:56pm.

Fraud: A resident of Spring Hill Drive reported their credit card was stolen and used to charge $970 at Home Depot and also used at Mervyn’s. The report was taken at 4:08pm.

Battery: Jamelle Ortiz, 35, was taken to county jail charged with spousal battery. The report was taken at 6:49am.

Threats: A resident of Del Monte Lane reported vandalism and battery to the police, and now the suspect in the incident is e-mailing threats to their son. The report was taken at 8:13pm.

Arrest: Jeffrey Stocker, 48, was cited and released on suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken at 10:41pm.

December 15

Stolen vehicle: A resident of Grand Prix Way reported someone stole her Toyota Sienna overnight while it was parked in the driveway. The report was taken at 6:31am.

Burglary: Park equipment was stolen from a shed that was broken into overnight on Burnett Avenue. The report was taken at 8:52am.

Vandalism: The Morgan Hill Library reported an increasing amount of gang graffiti recently inside the library and in the restrooms. The report was taken at 9:09am.

Arrests:

Mauro Valenzuela, 40, on Dec. 8 charged with burglary.

Rodney E. Streiff, II, 37, on Dec. 8 charged with spousal battery.

Justin W. Cregar, 34, on Dec. 8 charged with vandalism.

Larry M. Quihuiz, 21, on Dec. 9 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Carolyn M. Lyle, 44, on Dec. 11 charged with receiving stolen property.
