Hosting its annual Jamboree, Morgan Hill Pop Warner will pop the
top on the 2005 season by playing against the San Lorenzo Valley
Cougars and the East Bay Warriors on Sunday. The Jamboree, which
will feature games in five divisions beginning at 8am and
continuing through the final game starting at 4pm, will be held at
Britton Middle School.
Hosting its annual Jamboree, Morgan Hill Pop Warner will pop the top on the 2005 season by playing against the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars and the East Bay Warriors on Sunday.
The Jamboree, which will feature games in five divisions beginning at 8am and continuing through the final game starting at 4pm, will be held at Britton Middle School.
There will be a cheer squad for each team performing at halftimes, and organizers will be selling merchandise, as well as conducting a raffle for a large plasma TV and other items, as part of the program’s fundraising efforts.
The local Pop Warner program sent two of its five teams to their respective Peninsula Pop Warner league championship games last season, and two years ago, a pair of MH squads won regional titles.
Sunday’s game schedule is as follows:
Mighty Mite division: MH vs. SLV, 8am
Junior Pee Wee division: MH vs. East Bay, 10am
Pee Wee division: MH vs. SLV, noon
Junior Midget division: MH vs. East Bay, 2pm
Midget division: MH vs. SLV, 4pm
