In its third year, the Live Oak High Athletic Boosters Club
’s annual Golf Classic fundraiser is set for Oct. 7. The
tourney, which will be played at the Gilroy Golf Course, will begin
a noon with a shotgun start. The tourney will be played as a
six-person scramble format. Cost for the tourney is $125 per
golfer, and includes a round of golf, the use of a
golf cart, complimentary beverages on the course, tee prizes for
everyone, and a Hole-in-One contest presented by Courtesy
Chevrolet.

Lunch will be served on the course, with a barbecue dinner, silent auction and raffle afterwards.
The event’s proceeds go to help fund various sports-related expenses at Live Oak High, and often helps pay for unfunded programs.
The Booster Club is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote, assist and support athletic programs at Live Oak High.
