Dear Editor,
As the November election nears, I want to encourage your Morgan Hill readers to take the time to learn about the candidates for the local race. We are fortunate to have many interested citizens for mayor, city council and school board trustee positions.
I enthusiastically endorse Mark Grzan for the council. He has a strong administrative background, which would be an asset to our community. He is very detail-oriented and conservative with public funds and spending, while balanced with a strong desire to preserve the rural character of our community through careful open-space planning, and support for our downtown.
Mark is a man of integrity, honesty, and is passionate about his desire to give back to the community. He has kept himself abreast of a broad range of issues and would be able to jump in and be a full participant on the council right away.
With the departure of Hedy Chang, and the Coyote Valley expansion in the works, it’s critical we get someone on the council who is not only able to competently sort out a broad range of issues, but will also have a strong and independent voice on the council. Please join me in voting for Mark Grzan for the City Council.
Patti Hamaguchi, Morgan Hill
