$425 was stolen from a locked box inside her home. She believes her
housekeeper stole the money, she told police, but is not sure. The
report was taken on Aug. 25 at 2:05pm.

• A resident of the 400 block of Spring Hill Drive reported his wife’s wallet was stolen. The wallet contained $20-30 in cash, credit cards and a passport. Charges for approximately $1,000 have been made on the cards. The report was taken at 2:50pm on Aug. 25.

• An employee of Alien Technology reported someone siphoned the gas from the employees vehicle. The report was taken on Aug. 25 at 6:33pm.

• A resident of the 17100 block of Rosemary Circle reported the resident’s son’s bike was stolen from the front yard. The report was taken at 7:58 am on Aug. 26.

Grand theft

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her daughter’s tenor saxophone was stolen from Live Oak High School “around” Aug. 5. The report was taken on Aug. 27 at 12:05pm.

• A resident of the Woodland Estates Mobile Home Park reported she moved on July 12 and numerous boxes of china and crystal are missing. She told police she does not believe the movers have the boxes, but she last saw the boxes at her old residence on Lindo Lane. She has unpacked all the boxes and is unable to find the china and crystal. The report was taken on Aug. 26 at 9:08am.

• A resident of Impala Court reported a dirt bike, valued at approximately $1,400, and two saws, approximately $500 apiece, were stolen from an open garage. The report was taken at 1:06pm on Aug. 26.

• A Post Office employee reported someone took his employee tool box from his service truck approximately two hours earlier. He told

police the vehicle was parked in the back of the Post Office on Monterey Road, and when he got out of the truck to lock the gate, two suspects got out of a van and took the tool box out of the truck bed. The report was taken on Aug. 31 at 10:33pm.

Burglary

• A resident of the Morgan Hill Apartment Trailers reported someone entered her residence through a back window and stole her jewelry box while she was at work the day before. The report was taken on Aug. 27 at 9:18am.

• An attempt to steal equipment from a locked trailer was made at an address on Berkshire Drive. The door of the trailer was broken open, but the suspect(s) weren’t able to remove a compactor. The report was taken on Aug. 30 at 8:52am.

Identity Theft

• A resident of Crest Avenue Apartments reported her ATM card was “possibly duplicated” and $587.05 was withdrawn from her account within two to three weeks at the 7-11 store on West Main Avenue. The report was taken on Aug. 31 at 2:04pm.

Threats

• A resident of Depot Street reported she is being harassed by her soon-to-be ex-husband’s new girlfriend. She told police she has received calls from the new girlfriend and her friends in which she was told the new girlfriend was going to kill her. The report was taken on Aug. 29 at 9:46pm.

Embezzlement

• AM PM Mini Mart on Monterey Road reported an employee walked off the job, taking $310 with him. The report was taken on Aug. 30 at 3:30pm.

Vandalism

• A Morgan Hill resident reported someone threw a bottle at the resident’s car and broke a window. The resident told police the resident tried to chase the suspects but stopped when they reached speeds of 120 mph. The report was taken on Aug. 30 at 9:12pm.
