I just want to ask who handles the downtown music series bookings. I was born and raised here in Morgan Hill, and lived on Second Street for over 11 years, and if I recall correctly, there has never been a “no show” at the music on Friday nights.
I just want to let you know that the “sound guy” (I think his name is Bob. He pulled a rabbit out of his hat that Friday night) went and got some guy to play his guitar for a couple of hours it seemed like.
Some people left kind of grumpy, but a lot of people hung out to listen and the kids just danced the night away.
I think someone should give mention to “Bob.” He sure is “Johnny on the Spot” when you need him. And by the way, don’t ask that band back, that was really rude not even to call or show up.
