resident’s Chevy Suburban was

while parked in the lot at the Albertson’s grocery store in the
Morgan Hill Plaza shopping center. The report was taken on Sept. 11
at 11:52am.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported the driver’s door of the resident’s daughter’s Toyota Corolla was kicked and dented. The report was taken at 9:03pm on Sept. 11.

• A resident of Old Oak Lane reported he returned home to find “considerable damage” to his garage door. The report was taken on Sept. 12 at 7:28pm.

• A resident of Campoli Drive reported her vehicle was vandalized, with a damaged front hood and “vulgar” language. The report was taken at 4:14pm on Sept. 13.

Auto burglary:

• A Morgan Hill resident reported while he was in the restroom at the AM PM Mini-Mart on Monterey Road someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole his wallet. The report was taken on Sept. 12 at 12:15pm.

• An employee vehicle parked at the Fresh Choice office on Cochrane Circle was broken into. A window of the Saturn was broken; it was unclear at the time of the report what was stolen from the Saturn. The report was taken at 3:18pm on Sept. 12.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s vehicle was parked at Frank’s Auto Service on Railroad Avenue and was broken into overnight. The back window of the vehicle was broken. The report was taken on Sept. 13 at 10:02am.

Petty theft:

• A resident of Las Casas De San Pedro reported someone stole the resident’s bicycle; a 7-year-old apparently witnessed the theft and got a description. The report was taken on Sept. 12 at 7:53pm.

• A resident of West Main Avenue reported the resident’s briefcase was stolen from in front of the residence. The briefcase contained financial records, an address boo,, two Oakland Raiders tickets and an unopened CD. The report was taken at 9:10am on Sept. 13.

• A resident of Bent Oak Lane reported someone took mail from her mailbox over the weekend. The report was taken on Sept. 13 at 4:26pm.

Fraud:

• A Morgan Hill resident reported someone is using counterfeit checks and forging his wife’s name on checks; one of the checks was cashed at the Safeway grocery store on East Dunne Avenue for $133.62. The report was taken on Sept. 13 at 10:36am.
