n Vandalism: Two windows on the east side of The Granary office building on Depot Street were shattered overnight. The report was taken at 2:36pm.

n Vandalism arrest: A 15-year-old Morgan Hill male was cited and released to his parents and charged with vandalism after an incident on Calle Central, when the male reportedly kicked a resident’s vehicle, causing damage of more than $100. The report was taken at 9:17pm.

August 2

n Burglary: Neighbors of a residence in the 500 block of Calle Florencia reported they interrupted a burglary of the residence and gave officers a description of the suspects. Allegedly stolen from the residence was a box of Federal shotgun shells and a case of Winchester 9mm Luger rounds. The report was taken at 2:04am.

n Auto burglary: An employee of the House of Thunder on Condit Road reported his company truck was broken into overnight. The report was taken at 9:35am.

n Identity theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone “took her identity” and used it to open a couple of phone accounts. The report was taken at 2:18pm.

n Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported her wallet was stolen from her backpack while in the library. The report was taken at 2:33pm.

n Auto burglary: A resident of the 16000 block of Caputo Drive reported an “ammo box” containing no ammunition was stolen from their vehicle on July 27. The report was taken at 3:03pm.

n Petty theft: Two residents of West Dunne Avenue reported their mail was opened, and some mail was missing. The reports were taken at 6:03pm and 6:11pm.

n Burglary: A Pop Warner football volunteer reported the “snack shack” at Britton Middle School on West Central Avenue, where the Pop Warner teams practice, was broken into. Snack items were stolen. The report was taken at 6:24pm.

n Petty theft: Another resident of the 1100 block of West Dunne Avenue reported mail was stolen from their mailbox, and some of it was “scattered around the neighborhood.” The report was taken at 8:42pm.

n Fraud: Panda Express restaurant in the Cochrane Plaza shopping center reported two counterfeit $20 bills found when closing the register. The report was taken at 9:46pm.

August 3

n Vandalism: An employee of the Daneb Corporation on East Main Avenue reported the passenger window of his GMC was shattered, possibly with a sling shot. The report was taken at 8:53am.

n Burglary: A refrigerator was reported stolen from a house under construction in Kickapoo Court. The report was taken at 10:47am.

n Vandalism: A resident of the Cottage Green Senior Center on Audrey Drive reported someone hit her car with something that left dents in her car. The report was taken at 5:30pm.

n Petty theft: Nordstrom School on East Dunne Avenue reported that approximately one month ago, someone broke into the school and stole a camera, walkie talkies and a tub of licorice. The report was taken at 8:31am.
