Dear Editor,

Several times, over the months, citizens who have property in Morgan Hill have voiced their observations that very important meetings, affecting all of Morgan Hill, are not publicized and that these meetings should be publicized ideally in the newspaper, well in advance of the scheduled meeting.

Publication would allow the public to have an opportunity to attend and voice their opinions during the critical time periods that these changes are being proposed.

The Urban Limit Line Advisory Committee will soon present to the Morgan Hill Planning Commission/Morgan Hill City Council a general plan that affects all of Morgan Hill. People need to be informed in order to voice their opinions.

There needs to be a broad form of communication, such as the newspaper, that has the capability to notify every citizen who lives in Morgan Hill or is associated with this city as a property owner.

Thank you very much for your consideration. I very much hope to that we will see a schedule of any and all important meetings in future editions of the newspaper.

Julie Borina Driscoll, San Jose

Editor’s note: The City Council and ULL committee meet for a workshop at 5pm Wednesday in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 17555 Peak Ave. The meeting is open to the public.
