people were sleeping inside at the time but no one was injured. The

Passing forged check
Amanda Nichole Dellamaggiore, 21, of Gilroy, 2:52 p.m. Saturday, on the 12600 block of Hager Court for stealing two checks, forging their owner’s signature and cashing one of them.
Under the influence of a controlled substance
Phyllis Candelaria, 45, of Morgan Hill, 1:55 a.m. July 28, near Third Street and Westwood Avenue for being under the influence of a controlled substance and driving without a license.
OTHER INCIDENTS
Identity theft
A Morgan Hill woman’s checking account information was used to make five unauthorized charges of $59.90, between 12 a.m. May 21 and 11:59 p.m. July 16.
Recovered stolen vehicle
A 1988 red Toyota truck stolen out of San Jose was found near Foothill and Maple avenues in Morgan Hill, 11:15 a.m. Monday.
A 1984 white Nissan Datsun stolen out of San Jose was found near Sycamore and East Middle avenues in San Martin, 3:50 p.m. Saturday.
A 1997 tan Honda Accord stolen out of Watsonville was found on the 300 block of Forest Street, 11:39 p.m. Thursday.
Found license plate
A license plate registered to an owner in Sonoma was found near U.S. 101 and Sargent Crossing, 9:45 a.m. Monday.
Garbage dump
A blue chair and two wooden desks were dumped near Monterey Highway and Bailey Avenue in Coyote, between 6 p.m. July 24 and 8 a.m. July 26.
Vandalism
A small rock was used to break the side window of a tractor near Emado Road and Monterey Highway in Coyote, causing more than $600 in damage, between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday.
The irrigation pipes at a herbal farm on the 300 block of Kirby Avenue in Morgan Hill were vandalized between 12 p.m. July 14 and 2 p.m. July 28. The water pipes and water heater door attached to a mobile home on the property were also damaged, as were a window screen and roof of a shed on the property, causing a total of $1,900 in damage.
Fraudulent use of debit card
A San Martin man’s debit card number was used to charge $3,769.13 at Tiffany’s in Palo Alto and $68.33 at a Chevron station in Newhall, between 12 p.m. July 27 and 5 p.m. July 28. The victim closed the account and was reimbursed by his bank.
