Britton Middle

Holiday canned food drive, drop off donations at the Britton Main office, Nov. 18 – Dec. 16

St. Catherine School

Asking for nonperishable food items for St. Catherine’s on-site food bank Reach Out, bring donations to the school foyer, 17500 Peak Avenue; no deadline, they’re always taking food donations

Morgan Hill Unified

Send canned goods to any school in the district, partnering with Kiwanis Club; Christmas baskets will be given to needy Morgan Hill families; deadline to give is Dec. 17; baskets will be distributed Dec. 18

Nordstrom Elementary

Students are donating to a district-wide food drive, as well as a Toys for Tots Drive and a blanket drive for Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford; drop off unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots; call the school office at 201-6440 for how to help with the blanket drive

Jackson Elementary

Jackson is collecting canned foods and nonperishables to donate to Second Harvest Food Bank; class with the most donations wins a pizza party. Jackson’s goal is 600 pounds of food, up from 500 pounds last year; leave donations in a barrel near the front entrance of the school or if you’re a student bring cans to your teacher to be collected; runs from now through Dec. 16

Reuter’s Family & Friends

The Reuter family of Morgan Hill is asking for money donations to purchase bicycles for children and adults this holiday season.

The family uses the money to buy bikes that are given to underprivileged families in San Jose and Morgan Hill; for more information call 779-5920 or e-mail re*************@***oo.com.; runs through Christmas
