of Champions Tournament at Twin Creeks, the Live Oak High softball
team won three straight pool play games last weekend. On Friday,
the Acorns beat Mercy-Burlingame 12-0 on a no-hitter by Juliette
Bowers. Then, on Saturday, LO beat Milpitas 5-3, and edged SLV 4-2.

’s April Herrera, Kelly McDonald and Brittney Ondich all had
standout offensive performances. The Acorns (5-0) advance to play
Carlmont on Saturday at 9am at Twin Creeks.
