The annual downtown Morgan Hill Veterans Day ceremony has been canceled due to Covid-19 restrictions against public gatherings, according to city staff.
The ceremony—organized annually by local Vietnam vet Eddie Bowers—would have taken place Nov. 11 at the First Street Veterans Memorial. However, state and county public health officials have placed restrictions on large crowds that would have made the event unfeasible this year.
