Four people were arrested at a Myrtle Avenue home on the night of Dec. 12 after police officers entered looking for a Morgan Hill man with two outstanding warrants for $10,000 and $25,000 for traffic violations and for assault and causing corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant.
He was arrested without incident, said Morgan Hill police Cmdr. Sampson.
The police department’s special operations team had been keeping the home under surveillance and determined that Samson Guardado, 29, was apparently staying at the residence, Sampson said.
Morgan Hill police Sgt. Jerry Neumayer and Dets. Greg Dini, Kevin Beilmann and Rod Krewson, accompanied by patrol officers Sgt. Troy Hoefling, officer Jason Broyer and Jeff Brandon, showed up at the house at approximately 8:45 p.m.
Guardado was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also in the residence were Jose Orta, 46, of Gilroy, who had an outstanding $10,000 traffic warrant, and Eric Robles, 35, of Salinas, who had a $6,000 warrant for a traffic violation and a narcotics charge. They were both arrested, and Orta and Guardado were later booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
Angelique Arevalo, 33 of Morgan Hill, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and alleged possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released.
A small amount of methamphetamine was also found inside the house, Sampson said.
