Emerald Regime Wins Again
The 2006 Live Oak Emerald Regime Marching Band and Color Guard dominated Class-A competition all season by winning first place in all three competitions entered, including events hosted by Gilroy High School, Fresno State, and Logan High School of Union City.
The Emerald Regime traveled to Clovis High School on Nov. 18 and competed with the best bands California has to offer. In preliminary competition, Live Oak won second place in Class-A. Winning the Class-A competition was Newbury Park High School, from Newbury Park. Grace Davis High School of Modesto took home the third place trophy.
