The Sobrato girls soccer team improved to 2-0 on Wednesday with a 10-0 win over Anzar High in San Juan Bautista. The Hawks now fall to 0-4.

The Bulldogs, who took a 2-0 lead at half-time, scored eight second-half goals to pull away from Anzar.

Sobrato earned five goals from freshman Kayla King, who has scored seven in two games.

The Bulldogs also received goals from Rachel Faulk, Kristyn Lerma, Kayla Rebozzi and Kate van Kuelen. Nine of the game’s goals were scored by freshman.

In two games, Sobrato has yet to allow a goal. Anzar, meanwhile, has continued to have trouble finding the net. In four games, Anzar has been outscored 17-1.

Sobrato will play Monte Vista at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Hawks host North Monterey County at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
