• Ping’s Mongolian Bar-B-Que on Monterey Road reported someone spray-painted the words “white devil” on the door to the business overnight. The report was taken on Jan. 15 at 11:51pm.

• The manager of the 16100 block of Keith Way reported the top of the coin-operated dryer at the complex has been removed. It is unclear how much money was stolen. A resident reported the theft occurred late on Jan. 13. The report was taken at 12:47pm on Jan. 16.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported someone slashed all four tires on her Infiniti which was parked on the south side of Watsonville Road. The side mirror was also bent, the door was “keyed” and the rear of the vehicle appeared to have been kicked. The report was taken on Jan. 16 at 1:58pm.

Auto burglary:

• B&P Marine on Monterey Road reported an RV was broken into, and a TV, blankets and other items were stolen. The report was taken on Jan. 15 at 2:47pm.

Battery:

• A resident of West Third Street reported the resident was assaulted the night before by the resident’s stepson, causing a black eye, cuts to the chin and cheek and a thumb injury. The resident did not want to press charges. The report was taken on Jan. 15 at 2:23pm.

Petty theft:

• The Goodwill of Santa Clara County on Monterey Road reported someone stole several items from the fenced area overnight. There is a hole in the fence that someone could have climbed through. The report was taken on Jan. 16 at 11:42am.

Threats:

• A resident of Berkshire Drive reported a Burlingame resident is threatening to kill him. The resident told police the man in Burlingame believes the resident owes him money. The resident believes the man will come to Morgan Hill to harm him. The report was taken on Jan. 16 at 8:41am.

Grand theft:

• A resident of the 16700 block McGraw Avenue reported two boys came to the residence when the daughter of the resident was there, and the boys reportedly stole speakers, a diamond ring and several other items. The report was taken on Jan. 15 at noon.
