The following are among the incidents Morgan Hill Police have responded to in the last week.
Stolen vehicle
A thief or thieves stole a green Acura from an apartment complex on the 200 block of East Dunne Avenue, police said. The crime was reported at 8:35 a.m. Dec. 9.
Someone stole a green Honda Accord from a business on the 18700 block of Madrone Parkway, according to police reports. The theft was reported about 12 p.m. Dec. 8.
A brown Honda Accord was stolen from the 18500 block of Butterfield Boulevard, according to police reports. The crime was reported about 6 p.m. Dec. 5.
Recovered stolen vehicle
A green Honda Accord, stolen out of Salinas, was recovered in the parking lot of Cochrane Village Apartments, 18555 Butterfield Blvd., according to police. The incident was reported at 5:15 p.m. Dec. 8.
Petty theft
Someone stole a bottle of Hennessy cognac and other miscellaneous items from Trader Joes grocery store, 17035 Laurel Road, according to police. The suspect left in a four-door “beat up car.” The thief stole about $97 worth of items. The crime was reported at 10:36 a.m. Dec. 9.
Someone walked out of Safeway grocery store, 840 E. Dunne Ave., with flowers, according to police reports. The crime was reported at 12:36 a.m. Dec. 7.
Public works call
A mudslide resulted from recent rains on Thomas Grade Avenue near the intersection of East Dunne Avenue, according to police reports. The incident was reported at 12:17 p.m. Dec. 7.
Dog bite
A dog bit a six-year-old girl at an apartment complex off Llagas Road, according to police reports. The bite broke the child’s skin, and the child’s guardian took her to a hospital for treatment. The dog bite was reported about 1 p.m. Dec. 7.
Auto burglary
Someone broke into a Honda Accord on the 1500 block of Leafy Court and stole a stereo, according to police. The crime was reported at 9:53 a.m. Dec. 9.
