A thief or thieves stole a green 1999 Honda Civic from a location on Mercedes Drive. The theft was reported 7:06 a.m. Aug. 23.

Theft
A man stole a television from Wal-Mart, 170 Cochrane Plaza, and fled the store in a silver and blue minivan. The crime was reported 2:27 a.m. Aug. 28.
A woman with a red hat and black shirt stole beer from Wal-Mart, 170 Cochrane Plaza. When an employee of the store confronted the thief, the suspect threw a beer at her. The incident was reported 2:04 a.m. Aug. 27.
Burglary
A resident of Jarvis Drive left her garage door open for 10 minutes while an unknown suspect stole two purses and a cell phone from her unlocked vehicle. The crime was reported 2:55 p.m. Aug. 28.

A woman who entered Dollar Tree, 16975 Monterey Road, to apply for a job stole about $100 worth of makeup and baby items from the store. The crime was reported 9:04 a.m. Aug. 19.
Auto burglary
A thief or thieves broke a window on a Ford Explorer parked at Chili’s, 1039 Cochrane Road, and stole a computer bag that contained an iPad. The theft was reported 5:12 p.m. Aug. 23.
Someone broke a window on a GMC pickup and stole tools. The crime was reported 12:49 p.m. Aug. 19 on East Central Avenue.
