Auto burglary

Someone smashed the window of a black Toyota Tacoma on Wright Avenue and stole a keyboard. The crime was reported 10:34am Nov. 15.

Stolen vehicle

A woman who had been arrested the previous night in Watsonville reported to Morgan Hill police Nov. 10 that someone stole her vehicle. The car, a white 2016 Honda Accord, was parked in the parking lot of McDonald’s at Vineyard Town Center before it was stolen. The woman reported the vehicle stolen 11:48am Nov. 10.

A thief or thieves stole a gray 2002 Honda from a parking spot on Ciolino Avenue. The car was reported stolen 5:51am Nov. 12.

Reckless vehicles

About 30 vehicles were seen revving their engines and spinning doughnuts in a field east of Target on Cochrane Road. The incident was reported 7:36pm Nov. 12.

Battery

Police were called to Ann Sobrato High School, 401 Burnett Ave., on a report of a battery. The incident was reported 1:53pm Nov. 7. At 2pm that day, police responded to Live Oak High School, 1505 E. Main Ave., on a report of a separate report that a student battered a victim.

A group of eight juveniles attacked a victim at Galvan Park, 17666 Crest Ave. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. One of the suspects had reportedly hit the victim on the head with a baseball bat. The crime was reported 6:34pm Nov. 7.

Fight

A witness reported two children were fighting outside Britton Middle School, 80 W. Central Ave., while two juvenile bystanders filmed the incident. The fight was reported 3:18pm Nov. 8.

Police arrested a man who was reportedly trying to fight with other subjects outside Strixe bar, 650 Tennant Station Way. The fighting was reported to police at 2:04am Nov. 10.

Hit and run

A child was injured after a vehicle collided with her mother’s car and left the scene in an accident near Butterfield Boulevard and Diana Avenue. The suspect vehicle, described as an older model Toyota or Honda van, turned onto Diana Avenue from Butterfield after the collision. The accident was reported 5:35pm Nov. 8.

Disturbance

A male suspect punched in the window of a Hyundai sedan when the driver attempted to leave a spot in the downtown parking garage, 50 E. Third St. The incident was reported 12:02am Nov. 9.

A group of up to eight juveniles were “having a party” in the parking lot of a business on the 16200 block of Monterey Road, a witness told police. The incident was reported 10:26pm Nov. 9.

Three juveniles were allegedly spitting onto people from the top floor of the Downtown Parking Structure, 50 E. Third St. The incident was reported 6:31pm Nov. 13.

Grand theft

A thief or thieves stole four rims and tires, worth about $5,000, from a vehicle parked on Laurel Road. The theft was reported 8:14am Nov. 9.

Petty theft

A male suspect loaded a cart full of merchandise at TJ Maxx, 401 Vineyard Town Center, and pushed the items out the emergency exit. The theft was reported 12:06pm Nov. 9.

A 15-year-old boy stole a houseguest’s credit card and attempted to use the card to purchase something at a nearby store. The crime was reported 2:40pm Nov. 11 from a home on Wright Avenue.

Theft

A resident of San Pedro Avenue reported her firearm had been stolen about 18 months ago. The weapon was reported stolen 9:53am Nov. 14.

Recovered stolen vehicle

Police recovered a stolen vehicle that had been abandoned on Condit Road. The vehicle was recovered 2:05pm Nov. 11.
