Born in Pasco, WA, Phil was a veteran of WWII, taught math for 26 years, was a Scout Master and member of the South Valley Symphony.

He is survived by his wife Pat, and by his children Dr. Philip C. Meyer and his wife June, Stephanie Care and son-in-law Bob Care and Marilyn Kobobal; grandchildren Joshua, Jared and Jonathan Kobobel, Grant Meyer and Gracie Bronson. Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2009, 2:00 P.M. at San Martin Presbyterian Church, San Martin, CA.

  1. Mr. Meyers was such a great teacher and a very nice man.
    He was our teacher and our Explorers troop leader.
    Besides teaching us math so well we went canoeing on the Parajo RIver
    and on an amazing winter camping trip. Mr. Meyers was a great man and is still an inspiration to me even though I have not seen him since
