Arlene Edna Robrahn (Phelan) December 29, 1932 – November 15, 2013

Resident of Los Gatos. A memorial service in celebration of Arlene's life will be held at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos-Almaden Road, San Jose at 12:00 P.M. Noon on Friday, December 6, 2013. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tulip bulb in the spring (her favorite flower), or send a donation to Hospice of the Valley in San Jose for their tremendous love and care for our family.

Richard John Brown October 31, 1942 – July 30, 2012

Richard John Brown passed away July 30, 2012, after a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Dee Ann, children, Colleen, Becky and Justin Brown and his grandchildren, Gannon and Molly Brown.

Mary Louise Barr

Mary Louise passed away peacefully at the age of 89 in Folsom, CA. She is preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 56 years, Jack L. Barr, Sr., and parents Candelaria and Francisco Cota. Mary Louise is loved and will be greatly missed by her 3 sons and their wives Ralph (Ingrid), Gregory (Karen), and Jack Jr. (Phyllis), grandchildren Tony, Ronny, Kathy, Bradley, Jill, Donnie, Christine, Hannah, Jason, Deanne, Greg, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson due April 2010. She will also be missed by sisters Jessie, Alberta, Carrie, Juanita, and many relatives/friends. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 8530 Forest Street, Gilroy, CA, on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. Mom, go with God and say hi to Dad for us. We love you.

Simon Reyes March 13, 1939 – December 24, 2011

Age 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family early Christmas Eve at the Reyes family home in Morgan Hill. He was born in Otis, New Mexico. He came to California as a child and grew up in Dinuba, CA.

Alfonso V. Jaime

Alfonso V. Jaime passed away Saturday, November 24th at the age of 83 in Hemet, California. Born in Lemoore,CA, having lived in Hollister from 1932 to 1954, when he moved to El Segundo, CA. He attended local schools in Hollister and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked for Foremost Dairy and was in charge of weights and measures for 37 years. Alfonso was preceeded in death by his wife Rachel who died in 1994, his parents, Luis and Maria Jaime and brothers Adolph and Henry Jaime. Father of Anne Turek of Pacifica, Rick Jaime of San Andreas, George Jaime of El Segundo, Cathy Nicholai of Fort Bragg, Marie DeGand of Woodland,and Mark Jaime of Smith River. Brother of Carmen Jaime of Mexico and Mae Landeros of Hollister. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

James Wilford Martin Senior

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, James Wilford Martin, Sr. passed away at his ranch home in Gilroy on Thursday, October 28, 2010.

Wilbert Bert Burdick June 12, 1919 – August 8, 2012

Burdick, Wilbert Bert, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2012. He was the beloved husband of W. Radell Burdick for 71 years. Loving father of Evelyn Bonin of Tracy, CA, Timothy Burdick of Apache Junction, AZ and Michael Burdick of Morgan Hill, CA. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Julia Mae Grace Chrisco January 9, 1922 – July 17, 2016

Grace Springman Chrisco died peacefully July 17, 2016 in Tucson Az. Grace was born in Salem, Missouri, one of eight children to John Henry and Laura Jane Springman. She married Robert Chrisco in 1942 in Salem, Missouri. After Robert returned from WW II, they moved to San Jose, Ca and raised three sons, Gary, Larry and Ken and later in life helped raise Colleen her granddaughter. Grace was a generous mother and wife who took great pride in caring for her family. She was quick to serve others, taking care of sick family members or ready to listen when anyone needed to talk. She was a wonderful cook, always happy to whip up a feast for a rowdy crowd. Her pies and piecrusts were unmatched. True to her Midwest traditions, she was also a skilled quilter. Grace is survived by; her son, Gary and daughter in law Suzanne; and grandchildren, Colleen, David and Robert; sister, Martha in Salem, and brother Ervin of Pekin, IL and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by; her husband, Robert; sons, Larry and Ken; sisters, Edna Rhinehart and Lucille Walker; and brothers, Roy, Paul and Dale.
