The entire student body, faculty and staff of Oakwood School was invited to dress in Giants colors and logo wear Tuesday. This planning began several days before their thrilling World Series win – and everyone turned out brilliantly in the orange and black the morning after the World Champion Giants claimed their well-deserved title.
Lower School Principal, Mona Reel, claims some karmic ties to the win, by unashamedly admitting that she was born in 1954, the last year that the then New York Giants won the World Series. Oakwood would like to think that their pre-planning for their celebration sent along good vibes that helped them win.
