MH National Family Week Poster Contest Winners
"My Favorite Family Activity" was the theme for the poster drawing contest sponsored by the Morgan Hill National Family Week committee. All school children ages Kindergerten through eighth grade in the Morgan Hill Unified School District were invited to participate. The winning entries will be on display at the Morgan Hill Community Center through Nov. 30. The public is invited to see the children's drawings. Annual Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive
To make for a happy Thanksgiving for everyone, the Live Oak High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is once again asking the community to support its annual Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive. Students will be collecting cans and other non perishables along with monetary donations, and 100 percent of everything collected will be used to help 125 underprivileged families in the Morgan Hill Unified School District.

Textbook Sale
The Morgan Hill Unified School District needs to get rid of obsolete textbooks and is offering them to the public for free. For one day only, Dec. 5, all school sites will have obsolete textbooks to give away between 9am-2pm.
Teachers Endorse Three Incumbents, One Newcomer
The Morgan Hill Federation of Teachers has announced its endorsement of candidates for the four open seats on the Morgan Hill Unified School District Board of Education. Union members are supporting candidates Bart Fisher, Amina Khemici, Don Moody and Shelle Thomas.
