Sobrato High School ushers 285 graduates into adulthood
Hand-held cameras and smartphones pointed toward the stage and floated above the crowd in the raised hands of relatives and friends of Sobrato High School’s class of 2012 as the wind howled across the school’s athletic field and graduating seniors Coryne Turner and Vanessa Guevara sang the “Star Spangled Banner” at the beginning of Friday night’s commencement ceremony.
LOHS class of 2012 ‘did it their way’
The Live Oak High School class, whose members once graced television sets across the country on a fateful Cinco de Mayo, stood united Friday at Richert Field, this time to say goodbye.
Charter School of Morgan Hill named distinguished
The Charter School of Morgan Hill has been designated as a 2012 California Distinguished School. CSMH is among 31 public elementary schools in Santa Clara County that were selected for the award.
