Muriel Humfeld, born November 15, 1935 in El Centro, CA, died peacefully with her brother-in-law Charles Barrena and his wife Linda at her bedside in her final hours on Saturday, December 16, 2006, at Valley House Convalescent Center. Preceded in death by her father, Merrill Humfeld, mother Lou Ell Humfeld and sister Virginia Barrena. She is also survived by her nephew Douglas, nieces Carmela and Lynette and cousin Luella Sutherland. She also had other nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, December 22, 2006, 12:00 Noon until 1:45 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy, then to Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy for Graveside Services at 2:00 P.M.
