NBC Bay Area News reporter Damian Trujillo is slated as the keynote speaker for the April 12 “Morgan Hill Community Conference: Uniting the Community for the Success of Our Youth,” which will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Loritta Bonfante Johnson Education Center (85 Tilton Ave.).
The conference is a one-day event, organized by the Morgan Hill Unified School District, the City of Morgan Hill, the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce, the Mount Madonna YMCA, Parent University and the Discovery Counseling Center. The objective is “to join together to help our youth thrive,” according to the release.
Organizers will “provide educational opportunities for parents, grandparents, youth workers, businesses or just about anyone looking to impact our youth in a positive way.”
Throughout the day there will be learning sessions and youth panels as well as a resource fair with community award presentations. A free continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
