Sobrato and Live Oak High School will live stream their June 8 graduation ceremonies for audiences inside each school’s performing arts theater.
Family members and friends who may not be able to tolerate the temperatures outside are invited to enjoy the comfort of the air-conditioned theater as they watch their loved ones walk the stage to collect their high school diplomas, according to Morgan Hill Unified School District’s May 26 announcement.
Sobrato’s commencement ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. on the Bulldogs football field, while Live Oak graduates will receive their diplomas at 6 p.m. at the Acorns football stadium. Sobrato is located at 401 Burnett Ave. Live Oak is at 1505 E. Main Ave.
Last spring, parents and loved ones endured 100-plus degree temperatures to watch their graduates on their special day.
Seating is limited in theaters and is reserved for those guests who may be sensitive to the heat, according to MHUSD staff.
