Madeline F. LaPlant, born to William & Eva Filante on February 26, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY, left our world on April 9, 2009 in Springfield, OR.
Madeline has resided in Bandon, OR since 1990 and previously lived in Morgan Hill, CA for 33 years.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 22 years, David, her brother, William J. Filante, her father & mother and all the wonderful aunts that made her life joyful.
Survivors include her children, Mark & Melita Combie of San Jose, CA; Fred & Dora Combie of Cottage Grove, OR, Stuart & Robin Combie of Stockton, CA, Sylvia & Ken Combie-Jones of Hollister, CA; sister, Sylvia Meyer of Manhatten, NY, brother, Ron Filante of New Rochelle, NY; grandchildren, Alexis Schiedler, Brian Combie, Eric Combie, Douglas Combie, Jeffrey Combie and ten great-grandchildren.
Madeline touched the lives of so many people with her bright smile and distinctive laugh. She was loved by all and is missed deeply.
The family suggests memorials be made to Free Flight. Arrangements are under the directions of Amling Schroeder Funeral Service, Bandon.
