What better time for a grand moment of laughter? Lend Me a Tenor brings us into a wonderful farce that ends all farces. With two “Ortellos” and an abundance of hot ladies ready to make their dreams come true with the greatest tenor in the world who has an over-the-top jealous Italian wife. Laughter starts with the first moments when the really uptight general manager of the Cleveland Opera can’t find his temperamental, lady-chasing tenor for the evening’s performance.

Director Steve Spencer moves this fun-filled journey with a verve and energy of a moon liftoff.

<

Amy McElroy, Jerry Rosas, Jason Harris, Angela Santiago, Bruce Pember, Sam Saunders, Barbra Bottini and Rachel Perry all add to the hilarious antics. Most are alumni of LimeLight Actors Theatre and all deliver solid performances.

<

Written by Ken Ludwig, Lend me a Tenor walked away with 3 Tony Awards and 4 Drama Desk Awards for the original production on Broadway in 1989.

<

Glynis Crabb and Kevin Heath’s set is an added perfection where the audience can view what goes on in two rooms at one time.

For a most uproarious funny evening Lend Me a Tenor will let the laughs fall nonstop throughout the evening.
