A large-scale bingo program facilitated by the Friends of the Morgan Hill Senior Center is held Tuesdays at the Community and Cultural Center, 17000 South Monterey Road, Morgan Hill. Vineyard Day

Feb. 9

Barrel tasting

The Wineries of the Santa Clara Valley will hold a Barrel Tasting Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 9 at area wineries. Learn techniques and compare samples. Cost: $12.50 per person. Tickets available at participating wineries day of the event. Details: santaclarawines.com.

St. Mary School rummage sale

St. Mary School invites the community to a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9 in the gym at St. Mary School, 7900 Church St. Items for sale include: clothing, shoes, accessories, toys, household items, bedding, towels, baby items, books, luggage and sporting gear. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Hurricane Sandy relief fund. Items that aren’t sold will be donated to Hope Services. Details: Kelly Barbazette (408) 842-2827.

‘Chocolate and Wine for Valentine’

The Teachers Aid Coalition presents its annual “Chocolate and Wine for Valentine” fundraiser from 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill. Tickets are $25 and are available at BookSmart, 80 E. Second St. and the office of Drs. Jon Hatakeyama and Don Nguyen, 370 W. Dunne Ave. Ste. 3.

Emerald Regime Crab Feed

Live Oak Emerald Regime will hold its annual Crab Feed Feb. 9 at the Morgan Hill Buddhist Hall, 16450 Murphy Ave., Morgan Hill. Optional chicken dinner may be pre-ordered. Doors open 6 p.m. and dinner is at 7 p.m. Live Oak’s jazz band will provide live enternment. Silent auction and raffle. Presentation by Mary Cortani

AAUW and the Friends of the Library present Mary Cortani, founder of Operation Freedom Paws in Gilroy, who will talk about her organization and how it helps war veterans begin the process of healing their “invisible wounds.” Mary was one of 10 finalists for CNN’s Hero of the Year award. Event held at 7 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Morgan Hill Library, 660 W. Main Ave.

‘The Cemetery Club’
