Live Oak High’s boys golf team opened the season with a pair of Blossom Valley Athletic League Mount Hamilton Division victories over Westmont this week.
The Acorns defeated the Warriors 197-216 on Tuesday at Spring Valley and 194-221 on Wednesday at San Jose Municipal.
Live Oak senior twins Matt and Michael Jarvis shared medalist honors by shooting 2-over-par 36s on Tuesday.
Live Oak had four golfers shoot in the 30s Wednesday: Matt and Michael Jarvis, and sophomore Austin Ryder carded 37s, and senior Cameron Moeller shot 39.
