Geoffrey Raymond (Geoff) Cooke was born in Nottingham, England. He and his family immigrated to the USA in 1959. Geoff died from a massive stroke on April 18, 2007. Agnes, Geoff’s wife of 60 years, their sons; Ian, Bob and Glen, their wives; Ivanowa and Bertie, were with him when he passed.
Geoff is survived by his wife Agnes, their three sons, seven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Geoff will always be remembered for his patriotism, having served in the Royal Army in France during WWII.
After immigrating to the USA, Geoff served the British-American Club for 35 years as the Chapter Chairman and President. He and wife Agnes loved taking walks with their constant pet and companion, Muffin.
His grandchildren traveled from all over the United States to attend his Memorial Services in Gilroy at the New Hope Community Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the South County Humane Society.
