Downtown Association hires new office manager

Raquel Crowell has been hired as the Morgan Hill Downtown Association’s new office manager.

Crowell has lived in Morgan Hill for the last seven years with her husband Jeff and their three children.

“She has always been an advocate for promoting our local businesses, while supporting our downtown area. As a result of managing her own web company, ShopMorganHill.com, she became very active in our local business community,” according to a press release by the association. 

Crowell has been a member of the Morgan Hill Downtown Association and Chamber of Commerce for the past year and a half. She’s an active volunteer and has gained experience, resources, and much needed relationships throughout the Morgan Hill community. 

She has also volunteered on many event committees including: Outdoor Movie Nights, Spring Wine Stroll, and Ladies Night Out. These events proved to be huge successes for the downtown area and as office manager, Crowell will oversee all future events.

Crowell’s education background is in information technology and she manages the Downtown Association’s website and media pages. Additionally, her past 13 years experiences as a pharmacy technician taught her how to pay attention to details that are necessary to oversee the office.

“As a previous office manager for a Silicon Valley manufacturing company, she understands the importance of supporting the administrative aspect of her new role. As office manager, Raquel will add vitality and new ideas to the association,” the press release said. 

“She is always thinking outside the box for additional resources and positive ways to revitalize the downtown. We are very happy she has joined our staff and look forward to working with her in her new endeavor.”
