n Due to a source’s error, a story about the city’s existing skate park which ran in the Sept. 21 Morgan Hill Times incorrectly stated that the facility would shut down in December. No final decision has been made about the closure date for the park, according to Mori Struve, deputy director of public works. While it is uncertain how much longer after this winter the city can keep the aging facility open, Struve said the city will decide in the spring if it is worth investing additional money in the existing park. In the meantime, officials continue to explore options to create a new skate facility, with council expected to review the progress of that effort in October.

n Due to a reporter’s error, a Sept. 21 front page story entitled “Fate Uncertain for Wild and Stray Cats” misstated the first name of Greg Van Wassenhove, the director of Santa Clara County’s agriculture and environmental management department.
