RDA Spends $23,500 On Promo Materials Raising Concerns
Morgan Hill – The city's Redevelopment Agency has spent $23,000 on promotional materials mailed this month, prompting some criticism from residents that the agency is using tax dollars to sway public opinion before a pivotal vote by the City Council that could extend the agency's life 15 years.
Correction
- Due to a reporter's error, a Feb. 6 story on the Granada Theater in Morgan Hill misstated the age of the building at 17440 Monterey Road where the defunct theater is housed. The building was constructed in 1951. The theater operated at a previous location down the street from the 1920s until 1951 when it moved to the present structure.
